As you should know, when you fly with Allegiant Air, you will receive miles in your frequent flyer account in exchange for your travels. There are many ways to earn miles, and there are also many ways to use them.

Convert miles into award tickets

Award tickets are booked through the airline’s website or by calling their customer service line, where you can also find out if there are any additional fees associated with booking an award ticket.

To book award tickets with Allegiant Air, you must accumulate a certain number of miles in your account. You can earn these miles by traveling on Allegiant Air and its partners, or by staying at hotels/resorts that are also partners with the American company. The number of miles required depends on the type of award travel you book.

The number of Miles points required for the purchase and reservation of an award ticket is based on the class of service purchased. But since the points provided to Allways Rewards loyalty program subscribers are fixed (one point = $0.01), so if you are going to book a plane ticket that costs $350, you need 35,000 miles.

The interface for redeeming your miles for Allegiant Air flights is the same whether you access it from the American company’s website or mobile application. To use your Miles to book award tickets, simply enter your origin and destination as well as the travel dates (return).

You can do this by logging into your Allegiant Allways Rewards area. Then in the reservation form, choose the “Payment with miles” option and continue with the reservation process.

Cancellation or modification of an Allegiant Air flight ticket booked with miles

The same fare conditions applied for cancellations of flights booked with currency are imposed on passengers wishing to cancel award tickets.

If you cancel your flight within the first 24 hours (after which you have made and validated your reservation), you can therefore recover your miles free of charge.

On the other hand, if there are seven days or more left before your departure, you must pay a $75 fee, and if you cancel your reservation less than seven days before departure, you lose your right to reimbursement of miles.

If, on the other hand, you do not wish to cancel your reservation, but rather postpone your trip by modifying your departure date, in this case you are obliged to pay a fee of $25, and this must be done seven days or more before leaving. Otherwise, you have no right to flight modification.
